Created in 1951 by Arthur Galt Jr. when he converted his hay field
to a runway, the airport has since grown to hangar over 125 aircraft.
One Zero Charlie is the home of Michael Hunter and The Flight For
Diabetes as well as a community of aerobatics enthusiasts and
recreational pilots.
The facility has enjoyed an extraordinary rebirth since coming under
new ownership in 1998 and today is a textbook example of what is
possible for classic grass roots aviation.
