Q. What does the program coast?
There is no fee for attending a Flight for Diabetes Motivational Program. In addition, when the program is held in conjunction with an Air Show, your immediate family's admission to the Air Show will be paid for by Flight for Diabetes.
Q. Who Can Come To The Program?
Families with children diabetes, young adults with diabetes, Diabetes Support Groups, Educators and Physicians. We welcome the opportunity to share with you Michael's inspirational message that "Your only limits are those you choose to accept."
Q. How Long Is The Program?
Program times can vary depending on the location. Michaels speaking portion, including questions from the audience usually lasts 90 minutes. Specific programs details can be found in our schedule portion of our website.
Q. Do You Need Volunteers?
Yes, Flight for Diabetes is always looking for support through volunteers. Please sign up today and a Flight for Diabetes Representative will contact you.
Q. How Can I Make A Donation?
Donations can be made at any Flight for Diabetes Program, on-line or in the mail. Your support helps to bring our program to more communities across the United States.
Q. Do I Need To Arrive Early?
We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the event. We have local Diabetes Resources available and this is a great time for you to meet with them. Traffic should also be a consideration, when attending a Flight for Diabetes Program at an Air Show, allow extra time for traffic and parking.
Q. What Do I Need To Bring Or Wear To The Program?
When attending an outdoors program, dress for the weather, and wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Be sure to bring your diabetes supplies necessary for day.
